I don't think that this tornadic event is notable enough for its own article. Typically only article with large number of tornadoes, multiple fatalities, or damage in the hundreds of millions of dollars are article worthy. I think that is should be merged into Tornadoes of 2005, with perhaps a mention in Toronto Supercell. Gopher backer (talk) 21:42, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Insurance Bureau of Canada has estimated that insured losses where the highest in the province's history, exceeding $500 million canadian dollars, two and a half times Ontario's losses during 1998 ice storm and the second largest loss event in Canadian history (Meteorological Service of Canada (2009-11-27).
