Clarification Needed[edit]

The article is titled April 19-20 Tornado Outbreak, but includes tornadoes from April 22-24. So either the title needs to be changed or the later tornadoes need to be removed from this article. Tornadoes of 2011 also lists the April 19-20 and April 22 as separate sections but still lists the later tornadoes including the St Louis EF4. In short, the articles are unclear whether these were separate outbreaks or part of the same event. TornadoLGS (talk) 19:10, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The name has been changed, but I also note that the April 23-24 period included is stated as having tornadoes formed by the weather system that produced the April 25-26 set of tornadoes. if that's so, shouldn't the two outbreaks be grouped as Apr 19-22 and April 23-26? Help[edit]

I have no idea how to fix this article. Where is the official source information for confirmed tornadoes? The numbers in the tables do not add up. The main article Tornadoes of 2011 just adds to the confusion. --TimL (talk) 17:55, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Since the table listing each individual tornado seems to have a good source, I fixed the overall table to match, but can't say that's definitely right. The mini table next to April 19-20 also does not add up with the detailed information below, but i did not fix that. Dovid (talk) 18:31, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
