Related to Tommi Makinen?[edit]

I heard and read some specultion that Tommi Makinen happens to be the son of Timo Makkinen. Does anyone know whether it's true or not?

It is not true. As far as I know, Tommi is not in any way related to Timo. "Mäkinen" is a very common surname in Finland. Prolog (talk) 23:17, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Why this: Tulip Rally - class win, no overall rally winner declared, and the article Tulip Rally, the winner in 1964 is Makinen? where is the error? --Jorjum (talk) 09:08, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed this unsourced bit. A quick look on Google Books shows that Mäkinen won the event in 1964 and his class in 1965. Prolog (talk) 10:30, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
