GA Review[edit]

I'm nominating this list for Good Article status because I believe that despite this is a list, it should still be able to achieve a normal rating like regular articles. This is also going to be a part of the 2003 Atlantic hurricane season which is up for a secondary Featured topic nomination, by getting this article to GA would ensure that the nomination passes without question. Please take this into account when reviewing this page, thanks. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 00:50, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just as a comment, why not put it up for Featured List status, as you did with the 2005 timeline? This may be something you want to take to the talk page for GAN. I know there was discussion a while ago regarding a Good List process, which may be something you want to bring back up. However, as it is at the moment, I think this will probably be failed, as it specifically says in the GA guidelines that lists cannot be considered for GA status. My suggestion would be to withdraw the article from GAN and nominate it for FLC. Dana boomer (talk) 16:02, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks :) Just giving it a shot to see what happens. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 16:05, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just FYI, I think it's against the rules to have an article up for both. I'm not sure if it's actually specifically stated in the guidelines, because I'm not sure if anyone's ever tried it before, but I'm fairly sure it's against the spirit of them. I know that articles aren't supposed to be up for GA and FA at the same time, I'm pretty sure this applies to GA and FL as well. Dana boomer (talk) 22:45, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, whoops, I forgot to take it down from GAN. Thanks for reminding me. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 22:47, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
