Ceases in the 9th century?[edit]

Errr guys, the history of an empire suddenly CEASES in the 9th century? Egregius (talk) 12:39, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It fell apart after that point and never again reemerged as a significant center of power.173.67.20.63 (talk) 02:34, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Map[edit]

Removed File:Tibet 700ad.jpg and added File:East-Hem 700ad.jpg. How large was Tibetan Empire in 700 AD? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gecary (talkcontribs) 04:16, 6 March 2015‎ (UTC)[reply]

Maoris[edit]

The green coloured map of the world oddly seems to claim that New Zealand was inhabited by Maoris in the 8th century CE, which is contrary to what most sources claim.Lathamibird (talk) 04:23, 8 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New redirect[edit]

Shouldn't "Empire of Tibet" be a redirect leading to this page? (24.205.83.199 (talk) 02:45, 5 January 2018 (UTC))[reply]

Tibetan "Kingdom" or "Empire“?[edit]

Doesn't "bTsan-po / བཙན་པོ། / 赞普" mean the "great king" rather than "emperor", if you check the Clear Mirror on Royal Genealogy / རྒྱལ་རབས་གསལ་བའི་མེ་ལོང /《王统世系明鉴》? --WWbread (Open Your Mouth?) 12:29, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also described as king in article on him and every other time I’ve seen him named in the past 25 years as a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner. Does him heading an empire make him an emperor? Maybe. I’ve added a citation need for now. Dakinijones (talk) 00:37, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Refurbish?[edit]

This page seems to need a significant amount of work. I will do it, but I don't want to step on any toes. Any objections? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mulstev (talkcontribs) 00:24, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Palas of Bengal[edit]

The map shows the palas of bengal as tibetan vassals, but where is the evidence? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RedStorm1368 (talkcontribs) 05:40, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Battle of Talas caused the Tang Dynasty's influence in Central Asia to decline rapidly?[edit]

The Battle of Talas led to a rapid decline in Tang influence in Central Asia? Is this really the case? How do you explain the Tang army's attack on the Great Bolu Kingdom (present-day Kashmir) in 753?

Feng Changqing - Wikipedia

A country loses one-fortieth of its standing army, and the national power will decline rapidly? Will regional influence decline rapidly? Do you really believe it? 李双能 (talk) 04:45, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
