{{WikiProject Biography |auto=inherit|living=no |class=start|listas=Baldwin, Thomas Scott}==Untitled== A plaque is honoring him in front of Baldwin School in Quincy, Illinois, where he landed on one of his famous stops. The School is also named in honor of him.

There is no community in Missouri called Marion, Missouri. Their are over 5 different townships named Marion, but they weren't their in the time of his birth so I believe it was Marion County, MO. Information provided by epodunk. (Tigerghost 05:39, 17 December 2005 (UTC))[reply]

- This would also be why Quincy, Illinois praises him so much, because Quincy is right across the river from Marion County. He must have moved there at a young age or during his adult life before he became famous. More research should be provided.

Regarding the "Early Career" parachute jump, what is the source for the 1885 date? I've been researching Scott in the early SF newspapers and only seeing a jump in 1887: newspaper sources
