Comment[edit]

Please try to avoid words like "recent", as they are too vague (see WP:VAGUE), and rapidly become out of date. When someone reads the article, they can't tell if that paragraph was written in 2008 or 2004! So it is best to add a specific year. For example, "As of 2008, Madden's newest book is (title)". --Elonka 17:05, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

– I do not believe that the current article subject is notable enough to be the clear primary topic over the half dozen other people who share the name and have articles. I note that on his Amazon.com author page, and on his book covers, he is attributed as "Thomas F. Madden". bd2412 T 13:24, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination. The author's pen name is, indeed, "Thomas F.", rather than simply "Thomas", and the form with the middle initial, with or without a period, is used in all references to him. As for the second point, regarding the Thomas Madden (disambiguation) page, I agree that it does not appear to have an obvious WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 18:06, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support – this looks like the best way to deal with the ambiguous names. Dicklyon (talk) 03:45, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong support – subject isn't yet notable enough to warrant a titular article name. ToThAc (talk) 15:05, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
