The Legend of Thessalonike[edit]

Does anyone know the original source for the legend of her being a mermaid? The sources linked in the first sentence say nothing except that Thessalonike was a daughter of Philip. Nothing about being a mermaid or anything else. The rest of the paragraph is unsourced. I've been looking for this info for a long time yet could never come up with an original source.72.89.142.185 (talk) 21:46, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Discrepency between DOB on this page and on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicesipolis[edit]

This page states that Thessalonike was born 353 or 352 B.C.; The page for her mother Nicesipolis states that Thessalonike was born 345 B.C. and her mother died 20 days after. Any thoughts on which is correct?Gemtwist61 (talk) 16:39, 24 April 2022 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gemtwist61 (talkcontribs) 16:34, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
