Basis for Musical?[edit]
The claim that this biography was the basis for the Lloyd Webber-Rice musical is untrue. According to Tim Rice's autobiography, 'Oh What A Circus', he did not discover the biography until AFTER the musical had been written.
Furthermore, I suggest that the phrase "the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical" should be edited. If anything, Tim Rice had far more to do with this musical than Lloyd Webber, as he not only conceived it and wrote the lyrics, but also did all the research for it and constructed the storyline. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.129.144 (talk) 09:44, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
Page Creation[edit]
I think this is a notable topic because this was the first biography of Eva Peron and was the basis for a musical that has grossed more than a billion dollars around the world, not to mention the movie starring Madonna. This book is where the whole "Evita Pop Culture Phenomenon" began. Well, it actually started with Eva Peron and the Descamisados. The article is interesting but too brief. A paragraph or two summarising its contents would be most useful -- to mention merely that the author "was horrified to find the Peróns in power" is more tantalising than descriptive! Firstorm (talk) 00:50, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Wwhip.jpg[edit]
Image:Wwhip.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Biased Language[edit]
The last paragraph has loaded language in favor of the Peronist position, suggesting that most antiperonist criticism is invalid. It should be rephrased to discuss the flaws of the book without dismissing all antiperonist critique under one broad stroke.
