Parody characters[edit]

I don't agree with linking the parody characters with the actual Hunger Games characters. Yes, they were the loose basis for the characters in this movie, but they weren't based exclusively on the Hunger Games characters. Other traits, from other movies, were imported as well. Even the most casual observer will be able to put 2 and 2 together and figure out that link without making a partially deceptive assertion that the Kantmiss character is based solely on Katniss. Me too! I watched the new Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and loved the show. I watch the whole series at least once a month! If this is a mockery, I'm suing somebody today...
