A way to find old newspaper articles[edit]

I just knew there had to be SOME web way.... but it requires payments....

[1] will give you search results to articles mentioning the Spud Goodman show. Most of them available from the News Tribune archive at USD 2.95 a pop. Sigh. --Alvestrand (talk) 02:59, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've got a few more solid ones (which are free) from the Seattle Times, from this search.

The tone of the articles seems to suggest that the show was covered pretty regularly, but unfortunately the online archives appear to only go back to 1990, so any further research is probably going to have to be done by someone who's in Seattle and can get to a library with hard copy archives of Seattle area newspapers. -- Vary | Talk 17:38, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
