First cover recordings of Sound of Music songs[edit]
I just amended the paragraph about Patti Page's recording of the title song. However, I have doubts about the claim that she was the first person to record any songs from the musical. The Mitch Miller version of Do-Re-Mi was recorded in September 1959, two months before the opening of the Broadway show. As such, the Mitch Miller Do-Re-Mi should technically be the first recording of any Sound of Music song.Yip1982 (talk) 05:08, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
