Unchained Melody question[edit]

I was looking at the Righteous Brothers section on the Unchained Melody page and there is the following snippet:

"Two versions charted in the US that year. There was the reissue of the 1965 original Righteous Brothers single which received a lot of airplay, but sales were minimal since it was only available as a 45 RPM single."

I find it incredibly hard to believe in 1990, the record company worked to capitolize on "Ghost" by reissuing the 1965 original and when they cut it, it was only released on a 45. Can any of you confirm/deny this? Seems highly dubious to me as in 1990 I still walked into music stores multiple times a week and not once did I see a single 45 for sale (these were only for sale at flea markets or Goodwill). Unintelligible sentence[edit]

There is a sentence in the fifth paragraph that makes no sense: "They eventually split up in 1968, which lasted more than six years." It sounds like it's saying 1968 lasted more than six years.
