Contested deletion[edit]
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the primary "significance" that needs to be demonstrated is the use of reliable sources to demonstrate that the band has garnered media coverage; that criterion has already been fully met here. All three of the sources cited here — NOW, Exclaim! and Vue Weekly — are in fact among the gold standard sources for a Canadian band. In addition, the band fully passes the WP:MUSIC criteria of having released two albums and having undertaken a national tour; additional sources are already available as the article is expanded further, and even more will come available when album #3 is released. And finally, just for the record, I'm quite well-known on Wikipedia as an editor who does not create articles about frivolous or non-notable topics. --Bearcat (talk) 01:51, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
