UNDUE weight to snippets from local papers promoting show appearances[edit]

Regarding diff - besides being UNDUE given the obscure nature of the reporting venues, the cited sources mainly focus on the controversy surrounding Walker while only mentioning The Lynching in passing:

  1. All portsmouth.co.uk has on the show is Ms Walker’s show, The Lynching, sees the audience act as a jury while her mother ‘comes to life’ defending her actions. All are welcome at the performance at Fratton Rail Social Club, in Selbourne Terrace, on Monday at 7.30pm.are welcome..
  2. islingtontribune - But she was able to stage it on Monday evening at another hotel, the Mercure, and I found it absorbing and revealing. “My mother refused to be silent in her time, and I refuse to be silent in mine…we must be free to speak about the rights of all people,” she said. Jackie Walker’s show The Lynching is at Theatro Technis on October 2 and 3. For more details and to book email: [email protected], or call 07989 070843..
  3. Camdennewjournal - FORMER Labour activist and vice chair of Momentum, Jackie Walker is performing her one-woman show examining anti-Semitism claims made against her at the Theatro Technis on March 22-24. Billed as a story of black struggle, racism and Jeremy Corbyn, it mixes politics, humour, drama and song, The Lynching invites the audience-as-jury to hear Jackie’s mother defend her daughter. For more details call 020 7387 6617.

These are essentially show postings in the local media - which beyond the UNDUE nature of these very short snippets, also raises the question of whether these are WP:INDEPENDENT as opposed to paid promotion of the show (in 2 out of the 3 it seems the reporter did not even see the show, but is posting in advance on the slated time).
