Significance of title[edit]

Hello, there is an article on the Panopticon, a type of prison that was designed by Jeremy Bentham that allowed for covert surveillance of its prisoners. I feel that this must have some bearing in this choice of title, but I don't want to add it without some confirmation. I wouldn't know where to look. Request: change picture[edit]

Can someone change the picture and caption? It is a major spoiler and is unavoidable as it is right there at the beginning. Many people use Wikipedia to find out information on TV drama episodes they might not yet have seen (episode number, date of broadcast, cast etc) and thus choose not to read down to the "plot" section.

I would change it myself but I've just registered and am not quite sure yet how it works. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmholliday (talkcontribs) 08:49, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

But it is revealed that Locke dies in the previous season… –thedemonhog talkedits 05:45, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't find a way to answer you...

The reason it's a major spoiler is because the viewer has no idea how Locke dies. There is a huge dramatic build-up where Ben convinces him to not go through with suicide, then right at the end it is in fact Ben who kills him. This was a huge shock to the audience, even tho' they knew his character was going to die at some point anyway. The picture and caption reveals this spoiler in such an unavoidable way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmholliday (talkcontribs) 22:19, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
