Untitled[edit]

"Betty and her lover manage to escape."

Did the person who wrote that even see the film? The leading lady and man were the heirs (cousins) to the professor's estate and from two families who'd fallen out with each other. They weren't even on speaking terms prior to him going to see her after the professor's death. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.39.168.142 (talk) 01:15, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright status[edit]

I have deleted the link to the illicit hosting of this British film on Internet Archive. Co-writer Leonard Hines did not die until 1975, so UK copyright subsists until the end of 2045. As a non-US film still under copyright in its country of origin on 1 January 1996, it is protected in the US for 95 years after publication, so to the end of 2028.
