Text and map[edit]

The Trials and Races sections mention landmarks (e.g. Fulham flats, Craven Cottage) that aren't shown on the map; it would help if they were. For consistency, the landmarks in the text should be the same as those shown on the map (e.g. 'Harrods Furniture Depository' is 'Harrods Depository' on the map; 'Barnes Bridge' in the text is 'Barnes Railway Bridge' on the map). Indeed, an updated map would be great, feel free to knock one up, it would be brilliant. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 17:30, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Any idea what font has been used in the diagram, Rambling Man? Nothing in MS PowerPoint matches ... Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 02:11, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it well written?
    A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:
"It was the fifth time in the history of the Boat Race that men's and women's races were held on the same day and on the same course, this time along the Tideway." Is the race held in different locations each year? The quoted text implies that it is sometimes held elsewhere. This could be clarified.
    B. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation:
  2. Is it verifiable with no original research?
    A. It contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline:
    B. All in-line citations are from reliable sources, including those for direct quotations, statistics, published opinion, counter-intuitive or controversial statements that are challenged or likely to be challenged, and contentious material relating to living persons—science-based articles should follow the scientific citation guidelines:
    C. It contains no original research:
    D. It contains no copyright violations nor plagiarism:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. It addresses the main aspects of the topic:
    B. It stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style):
I note that the reserve races are currently commented out. These could be added if references can be found.
  4. Is it neutral?
It represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each:
  5. Is it stable?
It does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute:
  6. Is it illustrated, if possible, by images?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

Hawkeye7 thanks very much for taking the time to review this niche topic. I'll certainly look at addressing the issue you raised above which is a direct result of me writing it from an "in-universe" POV and that's not quite good enough. Cheers.
