Members of this band have contributed to recordings and projects of historical significance;

For Example Luis Resto has become a mainstay collaborator for Eminem, and has won an Oscar for his songwriting. Shaun Murphy was a featured singer with Eric Clapton, Bob Seger, Little Feat and many other rock acts, and has gone on to become a pre-eminent American blues vocalist. Nazarian and Jones have contributed, collectively, to many hundreds of successful and hit recordings produced in Detroit, Philadelphia and New York.

  • @Qwertyus:, @Dagnome27:, I've declined the speedy because there is an assertion of notability here, mainly through the claim that the band was signed to MCA and because it had at least one notable band member, Luis Resto. It doesn't really qualify for any of the speedy criteria at this point in time, so AfD is the only step left at this point. I am concerned that this band's page is only sourced through WP:SPS, neither of which look like they'd be the type to be an exception to the self-published sources rule. Dagnome, what you need here are sources that are in places that Wikipedia would consider to be reliable, like a Billboard review or evidence that they charted somewhere. A quick search brought up this recommendation in a Billboard magazine. Ideally you'd have some meatier sources that would be able to back up some of the various claims, but reviews are good as well. Offhand I will say that if you can find RS that back up the past band members, this would likely pass WP:NBAND on that alone. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:07, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
