Untitled[edit]

The direction that I was planning on taking with this page was to have a thematic representation of various technologies that have changed over the years in the Paralympic games for Australian athletes. I would welcome the addition of sports that I have not yet covered here (there are many more). AustralianParalympicTech (talk) 12:50, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not Australian[edit]

Nothing in this draft is exclusively related to Australia only, so I highly recommend dropping "for Australian Athletes" from the title. The technology is relevant to all Paralympians. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 19:46, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Actually it isn't even specific to only the Paralympics. This draft is in fact completely redundant, you should rather be improving the existing article Assistive technology in sport. -- Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 20:19, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Could modifications be made to the page in order to make it specifically about Australian Athletes? All examples bar three photos are of Australian athletes. Perhaps a stronger focus on how the technological changes affected Australian athletes, in particular, is needed. AustralianParalympicTech (talk) 02:30, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, that is absolutely what we do not want. This article is about sports technology, which is used in multiple countries. There is nothing unique about Australian sports technology. All the photos of Australian athletes can easily be replaced by equivalent photos of athletes from a hundred different countries, this is Wikipedia, not Aussiepedia. Technological changes at the Paralympic games for Australian AthletesTechnological changes at the Paralympic Games – Per the above discussion, there is nothing in this article that is specifically Australian. All Paralympic competitors from all countries use similar technology. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 21:21, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
