Since no one came forward to produce a translation of Tan's poem, I have deleted it from the main page and moved it here for reference:
Wuchang Yebo (武昌夜泊).
武昌夜泊
秋老夜蒼蒼，雞鳴天雨霜。
星河千里白，鼓角一城涼。
鐙炫新番舶，磷啼舊戰場。
青山終不改，人事費興亡。
