I've assigned this to the Photography Project. Barry Pearson 20:47, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The reason I just made these changes is to be compatible with changes I intend to make to the page for raw image format (and perhaps others later). It would be strange if the latter had more information about TIFF/EP than this page does. I made these changes in a way that minimized disruption to the existing material, hence I have simply added new material without otherwise changing or moving what existed. But perhaps this makes the amount of text at the top excessive compared with other sections, and some restructuring of material is needed? I'll await comments and/or action from those who have been editing this page for a long time! --Barry Pearson 10:47, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Two of the references I added are to one of my own websites. It is a non-commercial, free-to-access, website with no paid-for advertising. I have been building and publishing material about DNG and related topics, including TIFF/EP, in (by now) about 30 substantial pages there for over 4 years. The two references are to original and unique material, so I can't substitute other sources. My material at those links provides 100s of external links and lots of other evidence for what I state there. --Barry Pearson 10:47, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

The existing link to the PDF of the 1998 draft standard keeps failing for me. I have therefore added links to PDF copies of both the 1998 version and the 2000 version which I have on one of my own websites. I have left the existing link in place. Barry Pearson 14:16, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
