Market[edit]

Telecommunication is among the leading locomotive sectors in the world economy thanks to its size and efficiency. The ongoing rapid change in the IT, media and entertainment, banking, logistics and retail sectors as well as the increasing dependency on technology and communication in personal use also makes telecommunication the most attractive unit.

The volume of the market, which is currently US$20 billion, is expected to exceed US$30 billion within the next five years. Türk Telekom, one of the largest companies in Turkey with its infrastructure, human resources and financial power, is among the leading players of the sector not only in Turkey but also in the world as it acquired companies such as Argela, Innova, and Sebit with proven achievements in the fields of technology and innovation.

Türk Telekom, which has grown even stronger since its privatization thanks to the liberalization and opening to fair competition of the telecommunications sector, has increasingly continued its investments since the very first day. It is rightfully proud to contribute in the development of the market with the investments it made and will further make for the development of the sector with the aim of better serving its customers.
