Is Caulobacter ethensis-2.0 a joke?[edit]

Has anyone else noticed the publication date of both references to this subject being on April 1st 2019? Is it possible this was an April Fool's day joke? I would feel more confident seeing an additional citation to a publication from a different calendar date. Synthetic Biology is not my area of expertise.
