Creation[edit]

When I noticed that there was not an article for Syme, I decided to create one. Although I do not have many references, I have read 1984 and have included only factual matter in this article. If you have any concerns, use this page or my talk page. Sicilianshotgun (talk)

I added in the category thing in the bottom. It's a good, simple character page. I wouldn't personally have created it (Syme was something of a character that was used to express a point, in my opinion), but it's good. Good job. TheVaultDweller (talk) 21:51, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Change made[edit]

Syme is not a friend of Winston. Winston always has the view that Syme would denounce him to the thought police given even the smallest chance. Winston socialises with Syme in order not to stand out from society. I have now changed the article so that Syme is only descibed as a co-worker.
