Some rework needed[edit]

@Stmc6816, Auti9587, Chki9652, and Vanachorn: I found this article while going through the New Pages Feed. I like the idea of showing examples in various domains, but I have some problems with the text. Firstly, the definition in the opening paragraph doesn't really match the examples, in that they don't clearly express the internalisation of the hegemony, especially in the "Gender" section. Another issue, which I tagged in some of the subsectons, is that most of the domain discussions rely very heavily on a single study or example in each case, as opposed to providing an overview of how symbolic violence is manifested in that domain, and then showing an example or two to make it more concrete.

I won't necessarily remember to check back here, so if you'd like to attract my attention, please ping me (either by using the reply-to template or by simply wikilinking my username like this: [[User:Slashme]] and signing your comment like this:--~~~~ --Slashme (talk) 15:24, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
