Comment[edit]

Listen to scott brown, styles and breeze and hixxy for 2 hours and tell me this song is even remotely close to Happy Hardcore.

Bias[edit]

The "music video" section is teeming with bias, no? "Despite the reaction, dislikes/likes only represent about 3% of the minority vote. " <--What does this even mean??? --mikomango mwa! 01:57, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You only have to see the song's Youtube VEVO channel to see that it's widely panned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.60.173.19 (talk) 17:47, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it's been widely panned! To me it seems like the author(s) are trying to cover that up. The "reception" section makes it seem like most people enjoyed the video when clearly they did not--mikomango mwa! 23:01, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Why can't we admit any more that someone in the pop music industry released a giant piece crap? 173.30.187.100 (talk) 00:41, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The pure word-smithery involved in creating such a lyrical masterpiece is stunning! 2602:306:CFEE:1600:D83B:6C95:68BA:8785 (talk) 14:17, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Genre[edit]

Whoever keeps changing the genres needs to stop. Source states that the song is HIP-HOP AND HAPPYCORE not just hip hop, therefore do not change it just because your opinion states it is not. Also the reference that you used for hip hop was actually the one I put in for happycore, which says that "its less hip-hop and more electronic subgenres such as happycore and drill n bass" THEREFORE I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH DO NOT CHANGE!--(CA)Giacobbe (talk) 06:31, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

--Excuse me? Does this song REALLY sound like 4/4 hardcore techno? Happycore tag deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BassRabbit (talkcontribs) 21:08, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Music video still[edit]

This music video still does not really meet Wikipedia Guidelines. If someone can change it to one of Nicki with the BIG EYES, it would fit the article a lot more, especially since the Synopsis and Reception seems to dominantly focus on that aspect and the inspiration from gaga and Bratz dolls. I am just an IP Address user so can't do it myself, but I'm the reason the article looks this good, so please and thank you 141.155.10.120 (talk) 19:13, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lil Kim's response should be listed on this article?[edit]

Since the song is about her shouldn't we put what she thinks about the son on the Critical Reception? Bleubeatle (talk) 09:43, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

5. Happycore?![edit]

I'm pretty sure that this song is not fast, 4/4-styled, hardcore techno. Someone please, for the love of God, remove that. I'm sure if I do it, it'll just be put back in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BassRabbit (talkcontribs) 21:01, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You honestly need to stop. If there are references that state this song is happycore, than it likely is. Please refrain from edit warring which can get your account blocked. --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 21:43, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
WP:SYNTH? That reference only says the song 'has less to do with “Super Bass” and “Your Love” than it does with hyperactive electronic subgenres like happy hardcore and drill n bass'. That's nowhere near outright saying the song is happy hardcore. ouch.jars (talk) 17:17, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The source says nothing directly about what the genre is. It could just as easily be changed to bounce from this page. Simoneister (talk) 05:00, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Single vs. promo single[edit]

"Stupid Hoe" was released as a single because it is available for purchase independently from the album. A promo single is free of charge, which in this case it wasn't. Till 00:01, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If that is the case, then why is "Roman Reloaded" still listed as a promotional single, as it can be bought for $1.29 independently on the iTunes Store? ...Go to Vietnam; it's a nice place. :P (talk) 17:20, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Stupid Hoe[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Stupid Hoe's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "us_sales":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 10:05, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
