His military career is markedly lacking. One line has to be the shortest military history in any Wikipedia biography. I submit that it may not be the fault of editors, but that there is little to no notable history present backing up the trademark of 'Commando Steve,' and that a 'move to special forces' sounds incredibly unlike Australia's 2RAR commando unit, as they do not classify themselves as special forces. They are highly trained soldiers, but the Australian SAS would be 'special forces,' and even the ADF website avoids the use of the term 'special forces' applied to 2RAR (or 1RAR it's Army Reserves equiv.) @BaSH PR0MPT: Be interesting to see what you turn up. If he was a total phony, I think we would know by now. IMHO 'real' special forces are the ones we never hear about.
