Grammar problems[edit]

Anyone else think the grammar used in this article isn't particularly great? EDIT: Specifically, the first sentence of the article could be worded better. But I am not a Wikipedian, only a passer-by.

Clean up[edit]

A lot of this is dated. Anyone up to the challenge? --ClemRutter (talk) 11:14, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in State-funded schools (England)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of State-funded schools (England)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "nc":

  • From Key Stage 1: "The national curriculum Key stage 1 and 2". National Curriculum. GOV.UK. Retrieved 2017-02-18.
  • From Key Stage 3: Set out on the National Curriculum website Archived 2006-07-21 at the Wayback Machine

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 06:35, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Maintained school[edit]

The article refers to "maintained schools" but does not say what that means. Since Maintained school redirects here, this article should have a clear definition. Zaslav (talk) 04:29, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
