Rename to St George's Park correct?[edit]

The recent rename to St George's Park seems wrong. Bristol City Council, the "owners", call it St George Park,[1] as do the park signs (see article top right picture), the informal Friend's group,[2], and Google maps. This seems to be a case where the OS is using an old name, or has made a mistake. Rwendland (talk) 16:39, 29 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ping. I plan to rename this back per above unless anyone objects. Rwendland (talk) 13:33, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Fine by me but it was User:TimmmmCam who made the move based on OS map so may be worth asking for a comment from them.— Rod talk 14:23, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It definitely used to be called St George's Park. Historical information here that still calls it "St. George's Park" as do most people talking about it on Google. I searched but couldn't find anything about it being renamed so honestly I think the council have just made a mistake. Every map I can find calls it St George's Park (except Google Maps, but that is likely because of this article's name). Bing maps actually calls it both! I would go as far as to say it has both names. Maybe we should just put 'St George's Park (also known as St George Park)' in first sentence. TimmmmCam (talk) 14:40, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
