Consistency of formatting versus WP:BOLDTITLE and MOS:BOLDSYN[edit]

This isn't important enough for me to make a big issue of it, but I don't happen to like The Common Path and Infrastructure (CPI) in italics, The Integral Field Spectrograph (IFS) in italics, The Infrared Dual-band Imager and Spectrograph (IRDIS) in boldface, and The Zurich Imaging Polarimeter (ZIMPOL) in normal characters. Other than that, I like all of your additions, Rfassbind. Thanks for your efforts! :-) Stigmatella aurantiaca (talk) 22:37, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I admit, a mixture of italics, boldface and hyperlinks doesn't look nice when they are grouped close-by into a list. However, a stub about the Infrared Dual-band Imager and Spectrograph would allow us to change that bold text into a hyperlink (the redirection page already exists and other articles can already link to IRDIS, as I just did). And who knows, there might be enough material on the web to start a stub about the IFS subsystems or about the CPI? All I'm trying here is to group, organize and interconnect the Very Large Telescope#Instruments related articles.-- Cheers, Rfassbind -talk 01:02, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
