Cheviot Hills[edit]

I would dispute that the Cheviot Hills form a part of the Southern Uplands - and indeed that they also form a part of the Pennines. It would be useful if some sources could be found for these claims. The Cheviots are a distinctive range separate from the main mass of the Southern Uplands by Teviotdale, and perhaps to a lesser extent by Liddesdale. cheers Geopersona (talk) 09:42, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Population[edit]

The opener "least populous of mainland Scotland's three major geographic areas" is a really interesting fact, but is it true? The article has no reference to this, and population isn't mentioned in the rest of the article. If anyone can back this up, that would be great. Otherwise, I'll strike it after a couple of days.--ML5 (talk) 12:47, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
