Links and References[edit]

Hi there, I am new to creating Wikipedia pages, and this is only the second one I've created (excluding one I moved over from the Italian wiki). There are tags on the article saying something about "link rot" and references issues and I don't quite know how to fix them. Could someone help me with this please? @Eagleye1001: Given the way you have fixed these links in this article, since posting this comment, I assume you have discovered what Bare URL's are now, and how to fix them by correctly using the attributes in a web citation template. Since this issue has been fixed, I have removed the clean-up tag. In the process, I have improved the citations you supplied by revisiting the websites and used the web citation template tool built into the source editing interface to obtain more details about the citations you gave, and merged duplicated citations. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 04:10, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Now that you have a basic article you need to find reliable sources that describe the award and the people who received it. For example: regulations about wearing the award as well as any news reports about recipients of the award and the circumstances under which an award was made. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 04:20, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not going to lie to you mate I still have no clue what I'm doing. I've just kind of played around with things until I managed to get it to work! Thanks for all your help anyway! And yeah I'll hopefully find the time soon to flesh it out more. Eagleye1001 (talk) 07:58, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sometimes it helps to read the manual. Other times, the manual is missing, and you need to trawl around, experiment, or ask for help. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:19, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
