Untitled[edit]

Merging Sonya and Sonia would seem a no-brainer, no? They are essentially the same article about the same person in two places. Lindsay H. 00:16, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rename (move) page[edit]

I intend to rename (move) this page in a few days as her name is Sonia, not Sonya, as noted in a number of books (e.g., 'Flames in the Field' by Rita Kramer and 'A Life in Secrets: Vera Atkins and the Missing Agents of WWII' by Sarah Helm) and on a memorial to her - https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=66271597&PIpi=50772073 - so if anyone has any objections please say so. Copied content from Sonya Olschanezky article to the Sonia Olschanezky page which was a redirect for the former. The Sonya Olschanezky article is now a redirect page for the Sonia Olschanezky article. CodeBadger (talk) 10:11, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, this is better done with a page swap, to keep the primary history together and the talk pages synchronized. I'm going to fix a bug in my bot that I should have fixed sooner (which caused the spurious notice below), then I'll swap the pages. wbm1058 (talk) 14:26, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I've fixed the bot bug; and removed the spurious notice. wbm1058 (talk) 15:58, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. French and German Wikipedias both agree with you. wbm1058 (talk) 14:26, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
