update to Social Procedure, but all of Social Software should be moved there.[edit]

I have updated the small Social Procedure page with a tiny bit of new material and one reference, but really the whole page is nothing compared with the Social Software page, which is in fact a Social Procedure pages, as it explicitly states. To avoid confusion with the Social software page (second word uncapitalized) and match common usage, the entire contents of the Social Software (second word Capitalized) should be move into the Social Procedure page, or a disambiguation page added for social software -- I have made both suggestions, hoping for discussion and eventual consensus, but making no attempts to implement these changes myself. They should be discussed first.

propose to keep page, as changed, but also have Social software (social procedures) page, renamed from Social Software.[edit]

dpw (talk) 18:25, 22 March 2009 (UTC)There used to be two pages on Social softare, one correctly capitalized as Social software and concerning the most popular use of the term, computer software, and one miscapitalized Social Software, which said explicitly that it was about Social procedure. I have renamed (moved) the Social software page to Social Software (computer software) and the other to Social software (social procedure). But I think there is room for a Social procedure page, and I have added a bit to the existing one, which still has criticism templates added to it. I think both the Social software (social procedure) and the Social procedure page read a bit too much like personal essays, but that can be improved. For now, having them sorted out seems enough.[reply]
