Official name[edit]

The official name of the company is Bankas Snoras AB and the brand name is SNORAS. I have corrected the article accordingly. Talk/♥фĩłдωəß♥\Work 17:18, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for correction. I am not, however, sure if template OMXBaltic is fair as it is designed now: Snoras, as well as all other companies in Lithuania, are listed in NASDAQ OMX Vilnius stock exchange and name NASDAQ goes equally with OMX. I suggest adjusting the template to NASDAQ OMX, what do you think? --Meier (talk) 01:00, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Are you referring to the name of the template (Template:OMXBaltic) or what is coded within the template? If it is the name of the template: The template accomodates URL's to all three Baltic markets, so the name of the template is fine, I think. If it is the coding of the template: Three letters is pretty much what fits in to the infoboxes, especially when a company has more than one ticker. There is no article on NASDAQ OMX Baltics, and I do not know how to code variables into the template to make a choice possible between the three articles on the national markets.Talk/♥фĩłдωəß♥\Work 10:19, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I am referring to coding of Template:OMXBaltic. I don't think we should sacrifice precision for those probably 5 companies that have two tickers in Baltic exchanges. I strongly suggest switching to NASDAQ OMX because it is the brand as well as the name of all companies that operate in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark etc. Moreover, they put both names intentionally on the names of the companies to show it is now a part of larger group, we should not drop one word of the name just because it is too long :-) --Meier (talk) 17:13, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, consider it done. Talk/♥фĩłдωəß♥\Work 20:49, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
