Untitled[edit]

changed link from Ithaca Journal article to Cornell Sun article since IJ website charges for old content

Timing of name change[edit]

The article implies that the name was changed from "Springfest" to "Slope Day" in 1986, but I can state from first-hand experience that it was still called "Springfest" until at least 1991.

Please change the article however you see fit to improve its factual accuracy. -mercuryboardtalk 17:50, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request for full protection[edit]

I've requested temporary full protection for the page today, because it is Slope Day and the page has suffered heavy vandalism. Decision is pending. Thanks for all of the anti-vandalism work! —Notyourbroom (talk) 17:44, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2010[edit]

It's coming up again, and you know what that means. Come Friday, we need to have something in place for dealing with vandalism from Cornell students. I have kept this page watchlisted for an entire year so that I would be ready when it came around again.

Should we request protection when it comes? Or just be on heavy guard? ALI nom nom 12:40, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, just put in a request for a short-term block (24 or 48 hours) on editing from unregistered or new users. --Xtreambar (talk) 12:46, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
