Added link to Wireless Bollinger

Hmm... Sure would be nice to have more than one source for this. Guess we'll have to wait until Keven give out another interview. Or releases the thing. Ya never know which could come first. llcopp 06:27, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leak[edit]

Can somebody confirm the rumors of alleged yesterday's leak? I read a comment on a filesharing network that it was fake, only a track by Frank Zappa on repeat. User:marcosbodo 07:11 am, 23 August 2008 —Preceding undated comment was added at 12:10, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The leak is real. I've heard the album ;) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.110.203.124 (talk) 19:26, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality[edit]

I don't think the first paragraph should call Lamping "rather dreadful" since that is not neutral. Xonybubba (talk) 00:28, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree, the use of the term "rather dreadful" is taken directly from a quote by Barnes explaining why he chose the name of the album, it isn't as though the author of the article stated it as an opinion. Thesoftbulletin82 (talk) 20:34, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Songs from 2007 tour[edit]

The band debuted several new songs during their 2007 tour, including "Our Last Summer as Independents", "Exquisite Confessions", "Mingusings", and "Softcore".

Not only is this without any sources to back up these names, I'm about 100% sure they are wrong. I've listened to the album (leaked), and recently read a review that references lyrics from some of the album's songs (and uses the appropriate titles). I'm confident the user who added the list of "new songs" from the tour is titling the songs after the choruses in the songs. Makes sense to me that unless someone gets their hands on a legitimate published set list from these shows, we lose this part from the article altogether and stick with getting the song titles from Polyvinyl's website. Professional Review suggestion[edit]

As an editor at Crawdaddy!, and to comply with COI guidelines, I am not posting the link to this review of Skeletal Lamping. However, I would like to recommend it on its merits, and hope that an editor will find the time to examine the review and—if he or she sees fit—post it to the professional reviews section. I appreciate your time. Crawdaddy! (favorable) [1]

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
