Nationality[edit]

Sin Boy is an Albanian artist who does not has Greek citizenship; here are some references in relation to the issue: [1] [2][3][4][5]--Lorik17 (talk) 13:11, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mos:ethnicity says In most modern-day cases, this will be the country, region, or territory, where the person is a citizen, national, OR permanent resident. I will undo your edits and next time make sure to familiarize yourself with wikipedia's rules. you can always read this... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.130.51.252 (talk) 13:23, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
See references. Good day!--Lorik17 (talk) 13:30, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What about them? gega is stateless, so putting albanian is also wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.58.186.136 (talk) 14:27, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Is he in fact stateless? The Albanian nationality law article says:

"Access to Albanian citizenship by birth is automatic if:

  • Born in Albania and one parent is Albanian
  • One parent is Albanian and the other is stateless or of unknown status; regardless of birthplace
  • Born to two Albanian citizens, regardless of birthplace"

If this information is correct and both his parents were Albanian citizens when he was born, he would be an Albanian citizen too. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 18:14, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Metropolitan90: thank you for your participation. In fact, there are no references who neither discuss his citizenship nor his stateless status. All we know at this point is that he was born to Albanian immigrant parents[6][7][8] and that he had returned[9] to Albania.--Lorik17 (talk) 13:18, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Metropolitan90: partially incorrect. there are requirements for a person to formally acquire the albanian citizenship. 'Parents’ request towards the President of the Republic of Albania. The request must be signed (name, surname, and signature) by both parents and contains: full identity of both parents (name, surname, birthdate, birthplace and citizenship) ; the correct address of their permanent residence; mail, e-mail, telephone number, through which they can be informed about their request; reasons why they want their child to acquire the Albanian citizenship Birth certificate of the child released from foreign authorities, legalized or apostilled and translated; Consent of the foreign parent in the form of a Notary declaration, for the Acquisition of citizenship by birth for a child of minor age with an Albanian parent' https://www.adisa.gov.al/albanian-citizenship/ (its under 'documentation').

since there is no source which proves he has formally acquired albanian citizenship, it isnt incorrect to assume that he is stateless. moreover permanent residency in greece and most (if not all) of his songs being in greek (with some english of course) is being ignored here, which is causing the article to incorrectly classify him as solely an 'albanian rapper'.

good day.

@Beenee16 I'm trying to get more info on the Greek City Times to determine if it is a reliable source. —C.Fred (talk) 14:24, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It appears the death was fake. It was all for a marketing campaign for his new album
