Another possible copyright problem?[edit]

http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/english/doc/2004-01/14/content_298861.htm This is a different article than [2] in the references

The three sentences that are closest are "All of the rooms around the courtyard have large windows facing onto the yard and small windows high up on the back wall facing out onto the street. Some do not have back windows. Some large compounds have two or more courtyards to house extended families; this was a mark of prosperity and wealth in ancient times."

Just noticed this, removed.--Sevilledade (talk) 21:47, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Added the link as a reference to some of the statements and incorporated the last sentence but with the reference as citation. --Sevilledade (talk) 08:27, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Present prices[edit]

The housing prices given in 'Present' is way of of date (by the look of it anyone who bought a siheyuan in 2005 at those prices would have made an extremely good investment). I could update it, but I am not in Beijing and don't know current price level, and more to the point I don't think it would tell anything to the regular reader of the English-language Wikipedia. Authentic siheyuans (not the newly constructed ones in the outskirts of the city) are way out of reach even for upper middle class Chinese and foreigners. A better strategy might be to find a reputable source no older than 2-3 years describing this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jax-wp (talkcontribs) 04:45, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
