Contested deletion[edit]

Howard the Duck, I did not find it substantially identical to the deleted version. Also the AfD was about WP:NCOLLATH. How is that applicable now with Premier Volleyball League not being about a college league? Jay (talk) 15:16, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As stated by myself in the AFD, WP:COLLATH doesn't apply to this person, so we go with WP:GNG.

They may have changed the article from when it was deleted, but all refs, including the new ones, scream WP:ROUTINE to me. Now if that would cause removal of the CSD template, that's fine, which then it'll lead me to WP:BURO this to WP:AFD because it still doesn't pass WP:GNG. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because the article's subject has gained more notability since he figured in the Philippines' professional volleyball league with a team that he helped win a title as a head coach and is now campaigning for back-to-back championships. Per the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_Volleyball_League, his team is the winningest with 4 titles and 4 runner-up finishes. --Dcalviar2 (talk) 16:17, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
