John Lewis =[edit]

Never worked in business before, now destroying John Lewis. Go woke, go broke.

Page move from Sharon White (civil servant)[edit]

Now that Sharon White is no longer a civil servant, a page move is needed. I would suggest Sharon White (economist), what alternatives are there please? John a s (talk) 20:35, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Moved following her becoming chair of John Lewis Partnership.John a s (talk) 07:51, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Salaries[edit]

Is there any real reason this: "Furthermore, outgoing JLP Chairman Sir Charlie Mayfield has confirmed White will be awarded an annual salary of £990,000 as Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership, a significant increase on her previous salary, which was £341,700 per annum, according to data released by Ofcom." warrants inclusion in the lead, rather than in the "Career" section? Its placement does seem to be intended to draw the eye, it could be argued placing a disproportionate weight on the subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.72.152 (talk) 21:35, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Amol Rajan interview[edit]

White was recently interviewed by Amol Rajan of the BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/0015ghs/amol-rajan-interviews-sharon-white Can information from the interview be included in the article, or the interview mentioned? John a s (talk) 17:01, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
