Errors and Omissions[edit]

"Pots where players are all in are not handled like this, in both casino and home no limit games, a player can only risk the chips in play at the start of the hand, and may not add or remove chips from the table whilst a hand is in play."

I don't believe this comment is true. What most people refer to as 'no-limit' poker is actually 'table stakes', where you can only wager/lose what you have on the table at any given time. True no-limit poker allows you to play any money you have on you (or anything else considered of value). It adds some interesting elements to a game where you don't know how much someone can re-raise you if you raise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.96.15.120 (talk) 00:44, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It should also be noted that The Dean was called on his final bet, so he couldn't buy the pot for $10 more. Additionally, once called, he should have been the first to show his cards. This would have ruined what suspense there was from the scene, but I think anyone watching the movie knew what was coming, all the way to The Dean being in on the final scam. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.96.15.120 (talk) 00:47, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm surprised there is no reference to The Cincinnati Kid film. The final game discussion takes many parts from that film, along with other nods to the original. — Ched :  ?  07:00, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Possible uncredited appearance of Stana Katic.[edit]

Does anyone know how to research a possible uncredited appearance of an actor/actress ? I was watching this movie and about 7 minutes into the movie the nightclub owner enters his club, greets people, walks down a greenish hallway and enters a backroom area. At the end of that greenish hallway there is a guy & girl kissing and I could swear that the girl is Stana Katic. 172.88.146.9 (talk) 04:40, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
