Redirect destination[edit]

Jarble, regarding this and this matter that I reverted you on again, why do you think "sexually receptive" and "receptive to mating" should redirect to the Animal sexual behaviour aticle and Mating article, respectively, instead of the Estrous cycle article? Like I stated before, the Estrous cycle article is specifically about when mammalian females are receptive to sexual activity. It is what sources are commonly talking about when they talk about sexual receptiveness. Yes, other animals (including humans) can be sexually receptive, but this is about what sources are usually speaking of. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 02:49, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Flyer22 Reborn:‎ These terms also frequently refer to non-mammalian species, so the redirect to estrus cycle may be somewhat confusing. Jarble (talk) 03:10, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Your link is mostly about birds. The term is mainly used in reference to mammals. So until a better solution for the redirects comes about, this works fine. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 03:19, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And no need to ping me. The page is on my watchlist. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 03:23, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
