Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Scott Hammond is currently touring and recording with world famous band / artist Jethro Tull / Ian Anderson. He is mentioned on the Jethro Tull page, and has a played on Thick as a Brick 2, an album achieving notable position on the UK, US and German charts. --Valere24 (talk) 18:27, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because he is the drummer with Ian Anderson/Jethro Tull and has been for a while now. He also did the recent "Thick As a Brick 2" album which was the sequel to "Thick As A Brick" which was a MASSIVE album for Jethro Tull. He's been touring all over the planet with these guys for years now. You can see him on youtube too - he's just done tour of Europe (inc UK) and are soon to go to USA etc. Jethro Tull are among the biggest Bristish rock bands. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.31.145.221 (talk) 21:32, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
