Discussion[edit]

This hospital has little info about it, but a four to five story hospital is hardly a minor institution. Since it is in the Philippines, info is much harder to find than in an industrialized country. I'll see whether anything new is available.Bill Pollard (talk) 20:30, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just did a Google search and found at least five pages of entries about this hospital. Many of these did not exist when I wrote this article.Bill Pollard (talk) 20:40, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the proposed deletion tag after adding more info about this hospital. I found five pages of info in a Google Search. However, most of this information seemed to repeat itself in different wordage, rather than provide new info.Bill Pollard (talk) 23:01, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The definition of a "small" hospital by the Philippine Dept. of Health is it has more than emergency and basic inpatient rooms. This hospital is the primary care hospital for a large area, as no other hospitals exist within a 25 to 30 minute drive. There is not a lot of info on this place, but it clearly is not an insignificant place.Bill Pollard (talk) 10:52, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am writing a note here concerning my sources used in this article, because, to date, every single source I have used has been labeled as useless information. I think it is unreasonable to have everything about this article contested. Some of these same sources I am reintroducing in this article update. I will explain why each source is valid.

The BizList website, along with several others I am not using, provides a fairly basic listing of this hospital. It goes beyond some in that it lists a telephone number and two contact emails. BizList is similiar to the Manta website in the United States, in that its purpose is to list area companies and provide basic info about them.
The Philhealth website was dismissed as a blog. A portion of it is a blog, but this website also has legitimate info about Philippine hospitals and clinics. It provides a short listing of most Philippine hospitals and explains the Philippine Department of Health four-level hospital classification system. It also tells the reader what level has been assigned to each hospital.
Wikimapia website - the use of this website was labeled unhelpful. However, Wikimapia, along with other websites, provides a satellite image of this hospital and its geographic coordinates.
Private Hospitals Association website - this provides a basic listing of all member hospitals.
MedAsia Philippines website - this website is a healthcare management specialist website. It provides a basic listing of all affiliated Philippine hospitals and clinics.
Cavite Province Government website - this official website provides a short listing with bed capacity info on all provincial hospitals.
I did not use the Skyscraper City website, as it truly is a blog website. However, at http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1432506 is a photo of San Jose Hospital during the 2010-1 construction of its fifth story. Just scroll down a ways and you will see a series of photos. San Jose Hospital is there. If someone knows how to use this image and get permission to use it, it would be a good one to use in this article.
Panaramio website - this is a website of photos. Of additional help, each photo is located on a satellite map. When I first used this, it was removed with the comment the photo is supposedly of the hospital. I have never been inside the hospital, but I was outside the building twice. I know a valid image of San Jose Hospital when I see one.
Philippine Department of Health website - while this website does not mention the hospital, it provides information on its four-level classification system (outlined in A.O. 205-0029).

Bill, I've cleaned things up again. Please see the edit history for comments explaining each edit that I made. Look at the edits one at a time, and it should be pretty clear. Also, please bear in mind that it's best to keep each source within its own REF tag in the article, to keep things clear and make it easier for other editors to come behind you and see what you did.
