Move this to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1?[edit]

Criticism[edit]

In my opinion the "criticisms" section of this page describes criticisms of Samsung's marketing techniques and not of the tablet itself, and so should be removed —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.92.238.74 (talk) 14:55, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I changed the heading to "controversy", does that make it any better? HMishkoff (talk) 16:55, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copy edits[edit]

I've never used any kind of tablet or Android device, I was reading the article only because I'm thinking of buying the 10.1 when it's released in a couple of weeks (it looks like it's going to be spectacular), and I couldn't resist editing the article when I noticed that there were several issues. My unfamiliarity with the subject resulted in an occasional inability to be certain of the writer's intent, so I apologize if I messed anything up. HMishkoff (talk) 17:01, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please, excuse my english. Good job! Sefford (talk) 10:01, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sefford, if you're not a native speaker, your English is excellent, no excuses necessary. HMishkoff (talk) 04:05, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

10.1 North America general release model specifications[edit]

Reviews for the 10.1 model state that it carries the tegra 2 and no native external storage option. I don't know how to link stuff and I'm not sure if wikipedia policy accepts engadget or ubergizmo as sources so I wanted to run this by more experienced users here. The reviews are: http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/08/samsung-galaxy-tab-10-1-review/ and http://www.ubergizmo.com/2011/05/galaxy-tab-10-1-review/ Funkopotomis (talk) 01:49, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy?[edit]

Some editor thinks its controversial or a reliably cited source does? Unless one appears soon, I'm chucking the paragraph about the paid actors. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 20:08, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As promised, I offered editors four days in which to provide reliably-sourced, verifiable citation for the "controversy". None having been provided, away it goes. When someone finds citable references for the comments, it can return. Not before. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 19:36, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency on information between the model and comparison table[edit]

On the side bar it shows the 10.1 has Honeycomb 3.1 with Super PLS display, yet on the comparison it says only the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the Honeycomb 3.1 and Super PLS. 10.1 and 10.1V only have honeycomb 3.0 and TFT displays.

And I can't edited it because i am unsure which one is actually correct.

German Court and European Union[edit]

"10 August 2011, a German court granted a preliminary injuction pending a full hearing prohibiting Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales in the European Union". This statement is not rigth. The authority of a German court is limited to Germany. In Italy for example, wherein Apple has not convalidate some of the patents which are deemed to be "infringed" by Samsung, you may buy a Samsung Tab without problem in any store. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.92.153.12 (talk) 09:17, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar[edit]

Several parts of this article have been written by morons with no grasp of even the basics of English grammar. Consequently the article is garbled, unstructured and ambiguous. — Preceding unsigned comment added 18:01, 4 November 2011‎ (UTC) by 77.103.246.116 (talkcontribs), who inserted it at the top of a seemingly random section

Galaxy Tab 10.1 update[edit]

I've received an update on my tablet, I haven't updated yet, but what I'm understanding that it's an update to Android 3.2. There's a new back button, new wireless app, and a Market update with bug fixes throughout the tablet. Devin Davis (talk) 03:35, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Apple Lawsuit[edit]

The Apple Lawsuit section discusses the status of various lawsuits but not the details of what exactly the lawsuits allege in terms of design elements. =//= Johnny Squeaky 04:01, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Galaxy Tab 2[edit]

The Galaxy Tab 2, model GT-P5113 with Ice Cream Sandwich is now available. You can find them at Best Buy and on eBay in quantity. Should this article include info on the new 2012 model? JettaMann (talk) 18:49, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jelly Bean, really?[edit]

"The latest OS version for Galaxy Tab 10.1 is Android 4.1.2 - Jelly Bean."

I personally own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the latest Android release I can update to is 4.0.3 if I recall correctly. Where are the references for this statement?--TheLazyDog (talk) 03:48, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
