Rebuilding article[edit]

This article was very brief, with no references. It is also listed as a Bermuda Triangle victim, so I expect the related stories to pop up, which will be included. But to counter that, I've included documentation regarding the ship's history and investigation into the sinking. I'll get this done in the next couple days. It's done, by the way. Carajou 01:18, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding to the mystery[edit]

The Sci-Fi Channel, on its own, decided that a lifeboat should be the item listed as the only thing recovered from the Marine Sulphur Queen. This is contradicted by the Coast Guard report which lists all the debris recovered and collected. This debis was photgraphed and displayed to the public during an open inquest. All the Sci-Fi channel has done was to take the side of fakery in keeping with the popular tradition of the Triangle legend, rather than do the responsible thing...and that being TO TAKE THE SIDE OF THE FACTS. Why was it carrying sulphur in molten state[edit]

It would be a good idea to have this in the lead section. Pleasetry (talk) 17:50, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind[edit]

Trivia can be, for some, a plague when deciding what should go into an article. Instead of randomly inserting this in I'll leave it here to see if it is of any use. I came to this page due to the ship being referenced by name in Spielberg's screenplay, I don't recall if it made it into the film itself. Cheers!
