  • Comment shouldn't this be deleted? There doesn't seem to be any notability attached. Since notability is not inherited, the notability of the novel does not confer notability to the author. 65.93.15.213 (talk) 04:38, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • Perhaps he doesn't meet the guidelines, but it's not clear-cut enough for a PROD (there are at least two sources that claim to be about the author moreso than about the book). I've removed the proposed deletion template. Powers T 11:40, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
