An article with the same name, "Running gear", but different content, was deleted on 15 July 2014 after discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Running gear. --Bejnar (talk) 20:46, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

It should be noted that "running gear" is also used to collectively refer to the tread system of a track-driven vehicle such as a tank or bulldozer (i.e.; drive sprocket, road wheels, idler wheel, return rollers, suspension, treads, etc).
